The Cactus Blockchain organization believes strongly in renewable energy and Solar Power is a favorite among those. Our ambitious goal is to have all Cactus Farmers to be farming with renewable energy. The Cactus-Network will first focus on Solar Power, a plentiful resource in Arizona where the Cactus Blockchain was born.
Stability, Security, Decentralization, Immutability, and an overall confidence in the Cactus Blockchain is goal number one.
Mobility is a top objective. We are actively working to create a mobile platform which will allow all Cactus coin holders to be able to interact with the blockchain on a mobile device (IOS, Android, beyond).
Chialisp and Colored Coins – ChiaTM has done an outstanding job of creating this new PoST Blockchain solution for us, and has included great smart contract flexibility through Chialisp. Cactus Blockchain intends to take full advantage of this flexibility and offer end-users practical capabilities such as GUI based customizable NFTs and more.
Cactus Farmer’s ideas – Cactus Farmers are on the front line of the PoST (Proof-of-Space-Time) movement and have great ideas. Our Discord Channel is being used to listen and incorporate those ideas. We are adding these to our list of Roadmap features.
NFTs and CATs (ERC-20 equivalent) are essential to the vitality of the Cactus-Blockchain as they enable artists, developers, and dreamers to create their own unique offerings.
The Cactus-Blockchain will continue to align with the work and advancements completed by the ChiaTM Network team. They are a great organization with a great vision, however we also believe in block-chains serving different purposes. Since the Cactus-Blockchain is it’s own entity and chain supported by Nodes and the community throughout the world, we will not be dependent on the Chia Consensus. This provides us with the flexibility to serve the large and smaller needs of communities.
How is the Cactus Blockchain different?
We are different in the fact that our Prefarm was only 210K CAC coins used for development, and our goal is simple, decentralization with a zero energy cost footprint, through Solar. Using Bitcoin and Ethereum and POW Blockchains is expensive (gas), both for the end-user (coin holder), and the environment. We are working to enable everyone around the world to be able to use the Cactus coin (CAC) as a currency in a fully decentralized, mobile environment.
